Delete your account

This page explains how to permanently delete a Hold My Hand: Keep Us Together account and its associated data. The app is provided by My Hand Is Warm Limited.

This cannot be undone. Account deletion also permanently removes your shared relationship space. Your linked partner will lose access to the shared information listed below.

Delete inside the app

  1. Open Hold My Hand: Keep Us Together and sign in.
  2. Open Account.
  3. Under Danger Zone, choose Delete Account.
  4. Read the shared-data warning, confirm deletion, and verify your identity with your password, Google, or Apple sign-in.

The verified in-app request is processed immediately. If an interruption occurs, sign in again and repeat the request so deletion can safely resume.

Request deletion without the app

Email us with the subject “Hold My Hand account deletion” and include the email address shown in your Hold My Hand account. You may send the request from another address. If you used Sign in with Apple and Hide My Email, include the private relay address shown for Hold My Hand in your Apple Account settings.

Email a deletion request

We will send a support verification code to the email registered with the account and ask you to reply with that code. We aim to complete a verified request within 30 days. We will never ask for your password or an Apple, Google, or email sign-in code.

Data permanently deleted

  • Your Firebase Authentication account, email-linked app profile, preferences, push token, and private app statistics.
  • Your partner link and the complete shared relationship space.
  • Wishes, shared and personal calendar events, anniversaries, heart and lightning histories, invitations, and app payment records.
  • Whispers delivery queues, cloud chat history, cloud photos and videos, wish photos, and related cloud backups.

Limited information that may be retained

  • Support correspondence already delivered to our support mailbox may be retained for up to 24 months for support, security, and dispute handling.
  • Records required for tax, fraud prevention, legal claims, or another legal obligation may be retained only as required, for up to 7 years.
  • Apple, Google, and other payment providers may independently retain purchase records under their own policies. We cannot delete records controlled solely by those providers.

Retained information is restricted to its stated purpose and is deleted or anonymised when the retention period ends.

在應用程式內刪除

  1. 開啟 Hold My Hand: Keep Us Together 並登入。
  2. 開啟帳號頁面。
  3. 在危險區域選擇刪除帳號。
  4. 閱讀共享資料警告、確認刪除，並以密碼、Google 或 Apple 登入驗證身分。

已驗證的程式內要求會立即處理。如過程中斷，請重新登入並再次提出要求，系統會安全地繼續刪除。

無法使用應用程式時提出要求

請以「Hold My Hand 帳號刪除」為主旨聯絡我們，並在電郵內提供 Hold My Hand 帳號所顯示的登記電郵地址。您可以使用其他電郵地址提出要求。如您使用「使用 Apple 登入」及「隱藏我的電郵」，請提供 Apple 帳號設定中為 Hold My Hand 顯示的私人轉寄地址。

發送刪除要求

我們會向帳號的登記電郵地址發送由客服建立的驗證碼，並要求您回覆該驗證碼。我們的目標是在驗證後 30 日內完成要求。我們絕不會要求您提供密碼或 Apple、Google、電郵登入驗證碼。

永久刪除的資料

  • Firebase Authentication 帳號、與電郵連結的個人資料、偏好設定、推播權杖及私人應用程式統計資料。
  • 伴侶連結及完整共享關係空間。
  • 願望、共享及個人日曆活動、紀念日、愛心與閃電紀錄、邀請及應用程式付款紀錄。
  • Whispers 傳送佇列、雲端聊天記錄、雲端相片和影片、願望相片及相關雲端備份。

可能保留的有限資料

  • 已送達客服信箱的支援通訊，可能為支援、安全及爭議處理而保留最多 24 個月。
  • 因稅務、防詐騙、法律申索或其他法律責任而必須保存的紀錄，只會按需要保留，最長 7 年。
  • Apple、Google 及其他付款服務供應商可能按其政策獨立保留購買紀錄。我們無法刪除完全由該等供應商控制的紀錄。

保留資料只可用於上述目的，並會在保留期結束後刪除或匿名化。
