Terms of Service for Hold My Hand

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Hold My Hand mobile application ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

Hold My Hand is a relationship management app designed for couples to track milestones, share wishes, and exchange virtual tokens ("Hearts" and "Lightning"). The Service is provided for entertainment and relationship-building purposes only.

3. User Accounts

  • Registration: To use the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.
  • Security: You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password.
  • Partner Linking: The Service allows you to link your account with one other user ("Partner"). You are responsible for whom you choose to link with.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Harass, abuse, or harm another person.
  • Upload or transmit content that is illegal, offensive, or violates the rights of others.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems.
  • Exploit the "Angry Mode" or "Lightning" features to cause genuine distress or harm to your partner. These features are intended for playful expression of frustration, not abuse.

4a. Partner Chat

  • The partner chat feature is a private 1-on-1 channel. You are responsible for any content (text, photos, or videos) you send.
  • Local Storage: Partner chat data is primarily stored locally on your device.
  • Delivery Queue: For all users, undelivered messages are temporarily held on our servers for up to 30 days before being automatically deleted. Once a message is delivered to your partner's device, it is immediately deleted from our servers.
  • Cloud Backup (Plus Users): Subscribed users receive automatic cloud backups of their chat history (text and photos). If you cancel your subscription, your cloud backup will be retained for 1 year (365 days) from the expiration date before being permanently deleted from our servers.
  • Account Deletion: Upon unlinking or account deletion, all associated chat data and backups will be permanently deleted from our servers.

5. Virtual Items and Purchases

  • Virtual Currency: The Service may include virtual currency ("Hearts", "Lightning") and virtual items ("Wishes").
  • No Monetary Value: Virtual currency and items have no real-world monetary value and cannot be redeemed for cash or transferred outside the Service.
  • Purchases: We may offer the ability to purchase additional virtual currency or premium features via in-app purchases. All purchases are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law or the policies of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding Content provided by users), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Hold My Hand and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

8. Disclaimer

Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Advice Disclaimer: The "Fortune" and "AI Consultant" features are for entertainment purposes only and should not be considered professional psychological, medical, or legal advice.

9. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Hold My Hand, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

11. Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.

4a. 伴侣聊天

  • 伴侣聊天功能是私人的一对一频道。您对您发送的任何内容（文字、照片或视频）负责。
  • 本地存储： 伴侣聊天数据主要存储在您的设备本地。
  • 投递队列： 对于所有用户，未送达的消息将在我们的服务器上暂时保留最多30天，之后将被自动删除。一旦消息成功送达至您伴侣的设备，它将立即从我们的服务器上删除。
  • 云端备份（Plus用户）： 订阅用户将获得其聊天记录（文字和照片）的自动云端备份功能。如果您取消订阅，您的云端备份将从订阅到期日起保留1年（365天），之后将从我们的服务器中永久删除。
  • 账户注销： 在解除绑定或注销账户后，所有相关的聊天数据和备份将从我们的服务器中永久删除。

5. 虚拟物品和购买

7. 终止

我们可以出于任何原因（包括但不限于您违反本条款），在不事先通知或承担责任的情况下立即终止或暂停您的账户。终止后，您使用本服务的权利将立即停止。

8. 免责声明

您使用本服务的风险由您自行承担。本服务是在“按原样”和“可用”的基础上提供的。本服务不提供任何形式的明示或暗示的保证。 建议免责声明： “运势”和“AI顾问”功能仅供娱乐，不应被视为专业的心理、医疗或法律建议。

9. 责任限制
